The iPhone 8 models do not feature the edge-to-edge design announced in newer iPhones instead of providing a Touch ID Home button and thick top and bottom bezels in a 4.7 or 5.5-inch. There is no True Depth camera system for Face ID, but wireless charging is maintained.

Apple's iPhone 8 uses an LCD display instead of OLED and the camera is less progressive, but it still takes imaginary photos along with 4K video, and the processor is sufficient that it will hold up well for years to come. It is IP67 water-resistant and features LTE Advanced hustles of up to 600Mb/s, but it does not have dual-SIM functionality.

Apple in August 2018 presented a logic panel repair program for the iPhone 8, providing free for iPhone 8 models that are affected by a problem that can cause resumes, freezing, and insensitive devices.

According to Apple, a very rear % of iPhone 8 devices have logic panels with an industrial defect that are qualified for a free repair. The repair program applies only to the iPhone 8, not the iPhone 8 Plus or other iPhone reproductions.

Presentation management only kicks in if the iPhone's battery has degraded, and the rank of the battery can be checked in the Battery section of the Settings application on the iPhone. If the iPhone is not working at Peak Performance Capacity and performance management has been allowed, it will be listed there.

Moreover, from the front, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus look identical to the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, ongoing to offer the same 4.7 and 5.5-inch display sizes with dense bezels at the top and bottom of the device.

At the upper of the device, there's a safety device for the front-facing camera, speaker, associated sensors, and at the bottom of the device. There continues to be a capacitive hard state Home button that uses the Tap tic Engine to mimic a button press.

Apple in April presented a Product RED iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, featuring an optimistic red glass-backed shell and a black front board. Apple in 2017 introduced RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models, but those devices had a white front board, so the new iPhone 8 is a nonconformity.

So, like the previous-generation iPhones, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus are water-resistant. An IP67 water-resistance score means the two devices are completely waterproof and able to endure 1 meter of water for up to 35 minutes.

Though the iPhone X features no Home button and therefore no Touch ID, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus both have Touch ID functionality, making them an outstanding choice for clients not ready to give up fingerprint-based verification in favor of the new facemask recognition function in the iPhone X.
